Shannon McCall FitzPatrick
Shannon McCall FitzPatrick is the Director of the Office of Attorney for Students at Texas State University. She has been with the office since 1998. She received her undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University, her M.S. at the University of Wyoming, post-baccalaureate teaching certification at the University of Houston, and her J.D. at South Texas College of Law. She is licensed by the State of Texas and is a former Assistant District Attorney for Hays County and a former Assistant General Counsel for the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Kama Davis joined the Attorney for Students Office team in August of 2014 specializing in landlord/tenant issues. She received a B.A. in Spanish Literature and a B.A. in the Plan II Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin. She earned her J.D. and Mediation Training at The University of Texas School of Law in 2001. She worked at Baron and Budd in Dallas, focusing on mass tort litigation. In 2005, Kama opened her private practice, concentrating on debt settlement and criminal defense. Kama is a native San Marcan, and is thrilled to be a member of the Bobcat family.
Mark Kinzler began working with the Attorney for Students Office in October of 2018. He has been practicing immigration law since 2005 and his practice has focused on protecting and defending the rights of immigrants in a wide variety of immigration-related matters. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Sociology, and received his J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon in 2005. Mark is very excited to make his knowledge and experience available to the students of Texas State University as a part of the Attorney for Students Office team.
