Repair Requests

Texas law requires that tenants give written notice (ideally via certified mail return receipt) to their landlords when making a request for repairs. Talk to an attorney how to write a repair letter to your landlord.

Move-Out Charges

Landlords are allowed to charge tenants for damages to the unit that exceed ordinary wear and tear. It is best practice to take pictures of your apartment when you move in and when you move out.
